Pam Levesque presenting at 2 conferences this fall
August 22, 2014 – Congratulations to GLMA Nursing Section member Pamela Levesque, who will be presenting preliminary findings of the qualitative research study entitled, “The Lived Experience of the Transgender Nursing Student” at two conferences this fall!
- The International Institute for Qualitative Methodology 2014 conference, sponsored by the University of Alberta Institute on Qualitative Methodology, which will be held October 21-23 in Victoria, BC.
- The 2014 National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) Grantees’ Conference. This conference, to be held December 1-3, 2014 in National Harbor, Maryland, is open to scientists engaged in health disparities research; healthcare and public health professionals; public policy professionals; community-based and faith-based organizations.

Zuzelo, EdD, RN, ACNS-BC, ANP-BC, FAAN, is the author of “Improving Nursing Care for Lesbian, Bixesual and Transgender Women” just published in JOGNN: Journal of Obstetric, Gynecologic, & Neonatal Nursing, 43: 520-30. doi: 10.1111/1552-6909.12477.
